Colum is a native of St. John’s Newfoundland. After completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Pure Mathematics at Memorial University of Newfoundland, he relocated to Halifax, Nova Scotia and enrolled as a student of Mechanical Engineering at Dalhousie University.In 2008, he graduated with honours from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Engineering.

Colum currently resides in Calgary, Alberta, where lives with his Fiancee, Jennifer. They have a chocolate Labrador retriever together, Jakey. They are currently quite busying themselves with the building of their new home and developing wedding plans.
